She isn't as beautiful as when I got her, but pretty close. I'm swapping in a Cad 500 right now, and hope to be stripping, straightening and painting next summer.

1971 C10 Stepside. LSx 6.0 with BTR Stage IV, Speed Engineering Headers, 4L80e transmission w/3200 Circle-D Stall. 3.73. Posi. Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021.

It's a 3/4 drop - 4" drop springs on the rear, 2.5" drop tubular lower control arms + 1/2" drop spring. I initially had 4" drop spring in the front, but I couldn't get the alignment right, and It was just low enough for the front bumper to scrap on little dips on the freeway.

The combination of the longer springs and the extra inch in ground clearance made all the difference in the world...
