Sound deadening material...no ooze please

I am looking into applying some sort of sound deadener/thermal barrier into my truck including door panels. Seems like some of these materials work good enough however the stories of it oozing sometimes is disturbing to me as I live in Phoenix and I'm sure I don't need to explain how hot a vehicle gets left outside for a day. So my question is does anyone know of an insulator made from a material other than the tar type?
