rear light wiring diagram...

any one got a picture of them of what color wire does what......my left rear light doesnt go on when you turn the blinker or hit the brakes, only when the parking brake it on. any help would be great. Oh the front turn signals work and so does the right rear light. thanks

check the obvious things first Al, the bulb, the connector, and how about your turn signal switch? My panel's left rear light would only work if you had the turn signal "wand" in one particular spot. Just throwing out a few ideas for you.

i switched the buld to make sure.....everthing seems cool, except for the hack job some did on the rear wires..ghetto rigged.....so i wanna clean it up. reason why i'm asking for what color is for what.

i really need to buy a real good tester that doesnt brake.......

Should go like this....Brown is for the running lights Left and Right, may be brown with a yellow stripe for left and brown with a green stripe for right running....Green is your right turn signal and brake....tellow is your left turn and brake..Good luck. Yous hould have a connection / plug at the firewall and at the end of the frame if you want to unpulg them to isolate yoyr problem. As mentioned if its not in the wiring its likely your turn signal switch if ist your brake/signal light as they both go throught the switch..Running lights do not
