Re: Couple Brazilian C10

They look fast standing still with the laid back hood and swept back cab style. Quite a bit of aerodynamic flair in the body lines too.

So how much would it cost to buy one of those trucks? One similar to those that is.

Re: Couple Brazilian C10

Do they have our body styles down there as well? Were those designed in the US? It's interesting to see what other cultures come up with while designing the same truck. I can't imagine those selling well in the US, I wonder if ours would have sold well down there?
Cool trucks!

When I went to Brazil I saw several of those model c-10. Many have been modified to run on alcohol instead of gas.

Como se fala.... Uma olhada nesse vídeo?

That translates to: How do you say....check out this video.

Bagged Brazilian style c-10!!! Enjoy!

Re: Couple Brazilian C10

You mean Chevy didn't have to rebadge Isuzus as LUVS!
Why did Chevy not import their own minis from Brasil?
With an inline six in those small trucks, they must haul.
Chevy could have put an iron duke four in those babys during the smog years 70's and 80's.

I too use my Chevy pickup to get beer. Mine doesn't get any alcohol though. Different in a weird kind of way, but I like the swept back look.

Re: Couple Brazilian C10

It seems to me that a Brazilian C10 would be fairly easy to import stateside. I've read a little on importing vehicles, and so long as the car is pre-emission-era, you're got a good a good shot at getting it here.

Re: Couple Brazilian C10

Here is a link to that turbo'd C10 I mentioned. Laranja something or other...
Well crap, I see someone has already posted it. Well hey, play it again.
I understand there is a shortage of V8's down there. Government only allows them in certain vehicles or something like that.

My guess is that he posted here, because that's the year range....67-72. If it was an El Camino, it would have already been moved.....
This model was manufactured from 1964 to 1984 with minor changes, the size of this model is 4.84 meters, there is a larger model with Veraneio 5.36 meters and 5.16 meters.
