A/C compressor bracket question.

It's been a long time since I was last here, said Feb 2015!

Anyways I am wanting to get my truck back on the road, parked in 2013, I live in the Phoenix area and want to put in A/C, one of the reasons I stopped driving truck, also having other cars, all I have now is my Corvette and the truck.

It's a 396 big block I got out of a 1974 truck that had a 454 originally, has 454 pullies and alternator, power steering pump, pretty sure it's a long water pump.

To mount a Sanden 508 with Vintage Air brackets, which moves the alternator to driver's side, and puts compressor on pass side, I think I found a major issue!

First off I don't have the brackets, but the pictures of brackets makes it seem the VA alternator bracket is going to not fit with my power steering pump, the lower piece of bracket that bolts to top water pump mounting bolt.

I'll try getting pictures. Hmm, do I need a web hosting place to host pictures here?

Re: A/C compressor bracket question.

I found a bracket that puts compressor on driver's side, and keeps alternator and power steering pump in stock locations.

This bracket appears to fit over the power steering pump, might be hard to check PS fluid with brackets in the way, maybe not.

Still trying to figure out posting pics here.
