Never of thought of it that way.... so the first avalanches were actually from the 60's.... cool.

As a side note, I think the new avalanches are some of the best looking trucks on the road.

When I went to Peru over christmas I saw a few 67-72 trucks but they had the same beds that we do here. There were loads of 73-87 trucks and subs. All the trucks I saw had absolutely no rust because of the climate they have there.

I saw some interesting stuff when I was in the Navy down in Brazil. They were still making FJ-40 Land Cruisers in the mid 90's. But they got diesel crew cabs. Very cool. I recall seeing 80's japanese truck 4-doors too. I can't believe it took so long for those to make it here.
