GMC to Chevy frame swap

Is it possible to switch my 67 coil over frame over on to a 71 GMC frame? I understand that the leaf spring mount different than the coil over.... just needing to know if it can be done. My Chevy frame has a issue or two and I've found a GMC frame.

Thank you!!

There are no differences in the body's so it should be a simple frame swap

Re: GMC to Chevy frame swap

My biggest concern was doing away with the leaf springs in the rear and converting it to accept coil springs.

Re: GMC to Chevy frame swap

My GMC suburban has coils just like my chevys do. The body's are the same so they will interchange regardless. The only issue that I can even remotely think of would be if the spring hanger interferes with the spare tire well
