Stop me before I go to the dark side

Well only partly. Fell in love this upholstery but gulp it’s Bronco! Seriously debating running these in my hugger 72 suburban. Finding another bench may prove difficult as they only had this in 1973 bronco explorer editions.

Re: Stop me before I go to the dark side

A decent upholstery shop can recreate alot of things, and do it with seats that fit. The only thing you will have to do is track down the color/fabric options you desire.

Personally tartan is one of my personal favorites in any pattern, and I found a guy who did his inserts for his interior in red tartan. Although I completely disagree on the choice of red tartan as green tartan is far superior. None the less he had it.

He said he found it online, and the shipped him a few swatches to try out.

In the end his seats were very close to the ones you showed, and brought it home for him.

Good looking is good looking no matter where it comes from. Besides I think that that combination would look even better on a Burban's seats. The larger Suburban cushions will work with the brown upholstery to give the seat a rich, more luxurious look. Those Bronco seats look like seats in an airport, a place to sit, not a place to be comfortable.

I dig it.

Unless its some uber rare model, its your truck, do what you want.

I was really hoping to find some slip on seat covers with that kind of plaid for mine.

What Ziegelsteinfaust said. I had my 72' and 64' done here in Sparks. The 72' material came from SMS and the 64' material came from Amazon. Upholstery shops have samples too.
