New guy with a couple old trucks

Hello everyone, I'm David and I live in Washington.

I picked up this big ol project a few months ago

It's a 70 but I like the 67 front end. It's got some rust and needs a part or two but I've always wanted one of these trucks so picked it up as a project. I have about $900 in it so far.

Then today I bought this bad boy,

A 67 that runs and drives. It had sat for 5 years but fresh fuel and it runs. It's got a 307 and 4 speed trans, not original. The bed may not be original either . I got this one for $500.

It needs some more work but it's awfully rust free. Once I get the carb rebuilt and the brake lights working I'll load it down with tools and drive it for work as a carpenter.

Just wanted to say hi

Took the seat out and took the old cover off. The foam was in rough shape but I think between two seat bottom foams from astro benches I can get a nice cushion. That will have to do until I can get a newer seat to put in.
