Rear end swap question

My question is will the rear from an 88 s10 4x4 blazer bolt into a 95 s10 4x4 pickup, assuming they have the same gear ratio?

Re: Rear end swap question

I happen to have a 94 S10 4x4 pick-up at work I can measure. spring width, spring spacing, spring length, I can try to get drum to drum as well. this is of course assuming I remember to do this.

Re: Rear end swap question

spring center to spring center = 38.5"
backing plate to backing plate = 52"
spring width = 2.5"
both shocks mounted to the rear of axle on a plate under the springs
springs above axle

I don't know if I need to measure from pinion to each spring or not.

Yes it will work. The mounting dimensions are the same.
