I have always wanted a rust free 2 wheel drive blazer. My perfect vehicle would be a 1968 front clipped LS swapped 1972 2 wheel drive blazer. Honestly I know that is a unicorn and will most likely be out of my budget anyway.

I have been through the whole rust thing and am physically unable to do it again so it must be either original rust free or restored to rust free. I prefer 2 wheel drive but would consider any 4 X 4 in great shape.

I really want a factory AC Blazer but again if all the boxes are checked I will consider anything rust free and in really nice shape.

NO OCHRE, already had one. Although again the right vehicle for the right price and I will consider anything. I have a decent budget ($30-40,000+) but I expect to have more cash in the coming year? I am willing to travel but will fly or drive out to look at anything that looks like the real deal.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Mark

I bought this, should have inspected with a fine tooth comb because it was seriously misrepresented! My own fault I should have had it inspected and or appraised. I would NEVER have bought it. It arrived a couple hours ago with a flat tire, tons of bondo in the doors and rot in the rockers and floor. missing gas cap, no gear indicator, was told only gas gauge not working, but the tach doesn't work, temp gauge doesn't work, horn doesn't work, I can't even get the glove box open. Again I am as much to Blame as the seller but to say rust free open to fine tooth comb inspection.

Not looking rust free to me!

Not even replying to my texts. I offered to sell back for $20,000 and no response. IMHO his .membership should be terminated. Even though I should have had inspected he definitely misrepresented vehicle by his own posts!

In all honesty I was aware of the louvered tailgate, fuel door (didn't mind that but there isn't even a gas cap) he didn't smooth the cowl, just removed antennae (was there in pictures)

My biggest issue is that rust free runs great and neither are true.

I am putting up for sale today with lots of pictures and full disclosure. It is a factory AC 2 wheel drive blazer. The torque boxes and a lot of it is nice. At a minimum it needs 2 doors, inner outer rockers and the outside edge floor replaced. And a patch on bottom of driver quarter. Gauges restored.

I am hoping to sell for $17,500 (fair) and at that price I will only lose about $10,000 when you factor in shipping and sales tax?

If it wasn't for my shoulders being useless I would probably do 2quarters and doors and rockers myself. Paying someone to do the repairs would make me broke! $3-5000 in parts and $5-10,000 labor not including paint?
