I don't want headers for many reasons - cost, heat, noise, poor quality, etc. and after reading this article I am totally sold on these 2004 -2006 GTO LS1 manifolds. The article calls them Corvette manifolds, but is wrong if you look at the ones pictured - they do mention once they are from a GTO. Anyway, they are within 3 or 4 HP and torque of headers, and 9 HP and Torque better than the next best factory exhaust manifold, Camaro style. I am sure the truck ones I have are probably a little worse than that. I'm on the hunt now for some GTO take offs. Maybe $30 to $50 bucks. Way less than headers and nearly the same performance. Hoping they will fit.

Looks like I may have to do my exhaust a third time! It won't be too bad though.
These manifolds are kind of a Tri-Y style. Cool! Hopefully they'll open up the exhaust like the Doug Thorley's.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I sent these close up pictures of my free jump seat console to The Seat Shop.com to custom make my seat covers to match my 2003 style front buckets in charcoal black leather. They are only charging $150 for perfectly matching seat covers that I will install. I have used them before on a torn bottom seat cover and the fit and match were amazing. That's all I got today.

Both Seats and Console? My Seats and COnsole are not exact year match so the colors are a tad off. They are grey, great info, like your console. will check on color choices

I like that topless burb....maybe they couldn't figure out how to add the 4th door, so they just cut the top off

That front marker light looks odd on that yellow 68

Only if you are a Knoxville local. We drove 7 hours to Pigeon Forge, TN.
I think I took 400 pictures today. I'll post an entire album later and put up a link.
