So just recently my truck is makeing the awful noise coming from what sounds like the carrier bareing, or the rear end. it only makes the noise fro 0-35 and when im taking a right hand turn. the noise sounds like if you took a piece of sheet metal and bend it back and forth with your hands, its that bang type noise. also when i put it in reverse it goes ping and sounds like something is scrapeing whie i back up??? Please help this is my daily driver and i have no idea what it could be. Thanks for any advice.

I have heard the ping when the ujoints are starting to go bad and if you leave it you could fine that the driveshaft could leave you.

If you don't know what you are looking for, you can pull the shafts out and run them to a drive shaft shop. They can install the parts correctly, install the carrier bearing correctly (don't beat on the shaft with a hammer, it spins just as fast as your crankshaft, and you wouldn't DREAM of doing that) Plus, they'll spin it and ballance it if needed.
