Dash compatibility

Dad's 95 dash is cracked up in quite a few places, and while I know it's common, I periodically see used dashes in good shape for sale.

Are all 95-98 more or less interchangeable? I know the 97-98 added the passenger side airbag, but the heavy trucks had a cubby hole there.

Could I swap a 97-98 airbag into a 95, or are there other differences besides the airbag?

should all bolt up the same. Differences you already mentioned. wiring should swap over from urs to the new one...
