Re: 1 ton dually pics post

Here is mine. Needs some work but it runs pretty good. Today its getting a leg transplant. This one was special ordered from the factory with the GM H110 rear axle with 6.17 gears. I found a gm 14 bolt out of an 84 that is going in right now (I am literally on break). It should actually be able to drive around town now and keep up with traffic.

this is almost the twin to my truck, right down to the cab lights and 68 front clip. actually, mine is a few more colors, and has a stake bed, so i guess it would be a sibling...not a twin.

You are in a thread on the 67-72 section. That's why you don't see any 60-66's on here.

Post some pics when you bring it home!

Re: 1 ton dually pics post

Nice Pics!

There are a lot of nice flat beds here. Did anyone build there own? I am picking up my 69 dually next Saturday. This thread has been great inspiration. I really like the Black truck with flatbed on the first page!

Thanks for all the ideas!

Looks like a few 1 1/4 tons mixed in ( the 5 lug front wheels ). Curious if the emblems were 30 or 40 ?

No, GM didn't make ext cabs in these years. They were all custom.

71 C30 with hyd dump. Bought this as a parts donor for my 71 3/4 ton 4X4 that will be finished in about a week, I've been dying to post picts of it but have waited until it is finished. Anyways turned one ton into a trash hauler.

Here's my buddy's 1970 C30 converted to 4wd. He currently has a 3/4 ton Dana 44 in place but has a Dana 60 that will be swapped in shortly along with a Dan 70 rear axle.
