I sold and shipped a a 67-68 grill like that.

I wrapped it in bubble wrap and went the the ups store and picked up a box that worked then shipped it using USPS from Az to NY with no issues.

Thanks, I will look into it if I have to. I just don't trust that it will arrive in the same condition as it left in.

Re: 67-68 C10 Grill and trim

Another TTT for you and,

Just a Suggestion if you decide to ship.

I received a heavy item last week.
The seller used a Hot Glue gun to build a box inside the box.

He also glued 3 layers of cardboard in the corners.

The cardboard was almost as strong as a wood crate.
I like to have never got it open (easily)

I never thought of packaging items like this.

Just thought I would share this packing tip.

Hope I can remember this if I have to ship something like this

Thanks, I will keep this in mind if I end up shipping it. Sounds like a very solid way to make it happen, but the last time I did something like this I spent 2 hours building a box and its just not worth the time.
