1972 - 1975 blazer.

previously I was looking at a 1972 blazer with the idea of changing the grill out for a 72 GMC jimmy chrome grill. Reason is that Jimmy's round here seem to be uber scarce and uber pricey. I have found a 75 blazer which seems to fit my needs and budget. Is this still a valid option or were the changes from 72 to 75 radical enough to knock this on the head? i can't find any details of changes in width though which i think would be the largest issue. Any comments or am i just looking for trouble with this sort of project?

Re: 1972 - 1975 blazer.

do you mean 73-75? 72 had same body style as 69 and down to 72.(blazer came in out 69 I believe) i have a 75 and i love it. my wife and kids love it. my nephews love it cause they think its a monster truck (5-6 years old so there short ) either way look out for rust issues but 73-75 fenders are plenty-full at local junkyards. as far as 73-75 jimmys i don't see to much just blazer/k5's but i do believe you could switch them given if you find the parts

thanks. It's the 72 Jimmy grill that i love. twin headlights and that chrome cross. having said that I sure I'll grow to love a 75 grill too.
