Need Help with Carb. Linkage

I just got a new 2 bbl Rochester for my truck and the linkage that the accelerator rod clips to is different than my other 2 bbl. It has a much larger diameter. Does anyone know what type of rod/clip I need? Here are some pics; the first one is the old linkage and the second is the new one. I drilled a small hole through the old linkage, pushed it through and installed a cotter pin for a temporary fix. Thanks in advance for the help.

All I can say is that is the exact same thing I did, with the cotter pin and all, when I changed carbs

Have you had any problems with binding/sticking? Mine's been o.k. so far, but I'm kind of paranoid

It doesnt seem to bind, but its not how I plan to keep it... im still looking for something else... my rod is straight, not bent like yours, so you might be better off than mine is
