Main harness bulkhead connector

Is there a place to buy just the bulkhead harness connectors for the 67-72s? I want the under-hood side of the bulkhead connector that I put a big red circle around. I don't care if its individual plastic housings with pins or if its a pigtail setup. Thanks!

Re: Main harness bulkhead connector

The male terminals are Packard 56 type connectors. I don't know if your local auto parts store will have them, but they are available thru ebay, amazon, etc.

Re: Main harness bulkhead connector

Thanks, not sure why I didn't see this response before. I have found the terminals locally and online, but is there a place to buy the actual black plastic housing that holds them? Like I said, I am mainly concerned with the underhood side of the harness. It has to be made by somebody, there are aftermarket replacement harnesses out there for purchase that have a reproduced version of it.

Re: Main harness bulkhead connector

I knew I saw something
........check out Farmtronics.com and do a search for Packard 56. The last page lists a $50 bulkhead connector.

Re: Main harness bulkhead connector

Thanks! That's the one. Honestly I didn't expect it to cost $50 CAN to buy one, but I guess that's the way it has to be.

Re: Main harness bulkhead connector

i went to the bone yard and got a 88 burban, its not the same as yours, its more updated than mine but it was $25 for the fuse block and the bulk head connector and the other side of the connector. if you want it, you can have it (bulk head connector and mating connectors) as its gonna sit in a box on the shelf for years. 10 bucks shipped usps if interested.

Thanks Clint, but I will pass, I want to keep the 72 style bulkhead. I just want to redo some of the wiring.
