Any 411 on this swap?

what year S10 T5 is better?

Thanks Geezer....good info in the thread. My search for "T5" didn't bring that up....

Did a ebay search....the T5's are pulling strong $ now.

I was just going to do a 383/TKX swap but the little 6 banger just purs so thinking a T5 would get me the OD with the 3:73's I have.

I would not mind 3:08 gears but have a 3 series carrier. I assume though I could go down to 3:08 with the 3 series rear end. The Saginaw otherwise works fine but I may go Hurst floor shifter for it and 3:08's....
