Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
So far N2TRUX takes the cake with that trick setup! Nothing in my yard is that far off the chain. I tucked my stereo in the glovebox of both trucks and added a Camaro tach to the dash as well. Pretty typical fare I guess.

Mod'd auto van tilt (thanks to Yukon Jack), newer model steering wheel, and the ole' glove box instrument panel. The empty hole is going to get fitted with air pressure for oba.

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
The digital pressure gauge for the air suspension. Thanks, but I can't take credit for it. I told Roger at Stoked Out Specialties what I wanted to accomplish, and that's what he came up with...

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
I have a ton of em, but the truck is in a million pieces right now, so very few have any pics. Here's my instrument cluster, that's done for sure.
And my engine, It doesn't look quite like it used to.

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
HERE'S ONE OF THE THINGS I DID. WELDED IN A ROLL PAN, FAB'D A LICENSE PLATE BOX, AND THEN WELDED IT IN AS SLANTED AS I COULD POSSIBLY GET IT SLANTED. JUST ENOUGH TO CATCH SOMEBODY'S EYE I HOPE. ONCE I GET A 1967 LICENSE PLATE FRAME, AND MY VANITY PLATE FOR IT THIS SUMMER SOMETIME, IT WILL ALL COME TOGETHER. (LOVED THE HANK WILLIAMS JR. BUMPER STICKER ON THE PREVIOUS POST, AWESOME!! )

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
well lots of fella's did this mod but I'll chuck it up on this thread.
I'm still not finished with these(been jumping around too much on other things) but I've come up with a plan too fab some pieces to connect the front of the tubes too the top and bottom of the front of the c-member the pieces will serve as a mounting point for a hanger down the road

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
One of my mods is a wood bed I made myself. The wood is poplar. I cut the boards to size (specs from GMC Pauls website), ran them thru a planer, cut the grooves for the strips with a table saw, put three coats of spar polyurethane on both sides, bought the unfinished strips form Mar K and painted them with 2 coats of Blue and one coat clear. I attached them over a one piece welded in steel bed. I first coated the bed with POR15 and then mounted the boards over closed cell pipe insulation (boards are on top of foam insulation so they have air under them). I drilled holes through the steel bed and used stainless steel bolts and self tighening nuts to secure it to the steel plate. It was alot of work but I'm happy with the results.

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
Made an acrylic hood emblem insert out of florescent blue acrylic. Thinking about adding a LED to side light it when the head lights are on...
Some mildly custom door panels. Also fitted 14in electric fans, One puller on the radiator, one puser on the condensor. Did quite get the AC cold enuf so now sitting on the shelf, waiting for me to put them on are a 508 compressor and Be-Cool condensor. Made a smoked Acrylic shroud to force all the air to flow through the condensor as well. The front fan eliminated the room I had for my old hood pop, so I made up a new lever drilled a hole, and looked some cable through it. Ran this around one bar of the grill... It is all but invisible, and works great! Also fitted late model C1500 seats.. Right now we are calling this truck FHFU... Fix his F*** ups (the previous owner was a hack) notice the cut doors and dash, the fact the when you turn on the fan, the compressor kicks on, etc etc.. LOTS of work to do... or re-do..

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
Here are a few things that were done in my truck when we redid it....
Power steering lines thru the frame.... inside the engine compartment shaved firewall.... shaved antenna..... Hidden a/c lines All the wiring was replaced and extended and ran thru the inner fenders and frame not one wire exposed.. piocture to show no wires in sight only the spark plug wires because it needs them
