67 C-30.... do you know what that emblem is that's showing up on the front fender of both 67 GMC's you posted? I know about the funky vent looking thing at the back of the fender, but what's the one on the front??? It looks to be in a different location on both trucks... some kind of dealer option maybe?

That was the GMC Camper Cruiser used in '67 and '68. Here's one below. The parking light has been added, but the owner claims the 351 Magnum emblems came on the truck, but I've never seen one. I have a '67 GMC 2500 with 351 Magnum engine and mine only had the Camper Cruiser emblems.

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

BTW, the red truck is a Canadian GMC 920, so the placement of the Camper Crusier emblem may have been different on those. Mine was located where it is on the green truck.

Thanks rockc,

I presume the E81 is because it has a wood bed floor. The VK2 tool and storage box is just in front of the right rear wheel opening along the bottom edge of the bed. It has a door that opens up for access.

I know what you mean. It seems like everytime I think I have a handle on it, something new pops up. My latest "first" was 68350's Timberliner truck. That thing is very cool! It actually fits in this thread, so here it is.

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

Here's mine- 68 shorty, 307, 3 on the tree. I bought it from the 2nd owner out of NorCal. I asked the guy if he thought it would make it home to Phoenix - he was like "no prob"! He was right, she cruised all the way down the I-5, over to the I-10 really smooth! I wish I had O/D, but going through the notorious Grapevine wasn't a problem! I do have plans of messing with the 100% original though She's will be dropped (4/6) and probably a 700r4, rolling on some 20's! We'll see!

VA72C10 - that sucks, that you're selling it, but someone will be getting a nice truck. For some reason, I thought you just picked that one up? Good luck!

My Blazer.. Spotlights were dealer installed, mirrors were changed in 1970, tires were put on in 1993. She is rusty, but not for much longer..

My Cheyenne Super.. Large percentage of original paint, 10 ply bias tires, added a couple of options, but is pretty much factory.

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

Ilike72"s green "base" model truck is one of my all time favorites on this site. The all stock "base" models really stand out in a crowd, especially when they are shiny and clean. All stock trucks regardless of trim level, are timemachines and remind us how they used to look when they left the sales lot.
