Radio wiring

Has anyone used the aaw classic update harness with the original am radio that came in these trucks. If so how do they hook up as there is a tan wire for the on off switch and a yellow wire for the battery feed. But the only place I'm seeing for anything is a spade connection coming off the speaker plug. I don't want to mess anything up by hooking it up wrong. Then again I don't know if the radio even works. Got it used off the man I bought the truck from for $25 and it wasn't hooked up in the truck I pulled it from. Just sitting in the dash

Re: Radio wiring

This thread should help. The factory pulled power from the plug with the speaker leads.
