I did a 2" 3" drop with springs and I wouldn't recomend dropping any more than that on the FRONT with just springs, it changes the geometry of the suspension making it impossible to align the front end correctly. Do the drop spindle route for more than 2" on the nose.

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

I did a 2.5 drop with ECE spindles, and stock-height springs in the front. I dropped the rear with 4-inch lowering springs. All the normal weight-carrying capacity is still there. I dropped the front an additional inch with rubber (235R60X15's). I plan to bring the rear down a total of 6-inches, via the springs. So, I'm gonna have a very good set of 4-inch lowering springs available, when I do it.
