Painting chains

What's the best way to go about painting tailgate chains and other impossible to sand small parts?...I had it all sandblasted and sprayed it with epoxy...epoxy is all that's on it now..I had the chains hung up and I know the contact areas of the links are epoxy free..but theres no way to sand the links..and I have some other pieces that there is no way I can get sandpaper into..just dont know how to get it paint ready...

Re: Painting chains

I'm guessing it's too late to shoot paint within the one week recoat window of SPI epoxy? There would be no need to sand that way.

Re: Painting chains

Have had that thought on a Dodge Little Red Express I have. I'm going to get my powdercoater to do them in Argent Silver, or a Satin Black.

Just a thought !
