You're correct, but I was trying to get a price on the others. I should have sent him a PM instead of messing this thread up....

DT says their supply will be ready this week. I currently have 2 sets going out as soon as they are ready. And to save time (and cost) I have DT drop ship them to you.

Please see the PM I just sent you witin 2min of you sending me one.

But for those wanting to know; I will be calling DT tomorrow to find out what the issue is, they told me 2 wks about 2 wks ago and so far no response from the sales rep from DT so I will call tomorrow and follow up with you and anyone else that wants to know.

I do apologize, I know what its like to wait and need/want parts; I am in the same boat.

Re: Doug Thorley LSx swap headers $475 shipped

ARe these only available in 1-5/8-inch Primary and 2-1/2-inch Collector???

My 6.0L has the new L92/LS3 style heads with more flow. My buddy in the know tells me I probably want 1-7/8-inch primary and 3" collector. Is this possible or no?

DT only has the 1 5/8" Primaries and 2.5" collectors, if you are wanting a different header (Kooks or Pacesetters) let me know.
Kooks and ARH are the only ones I know of that have the primary and collector you are asking for the only problem is the clearance issues with those headers b/c they are not built for this truck, you have to clearance somethings to get the F-body headers to work....

Re: Doug Thorley LSx swap headers $475 shipped

Just seems these headers would have a flow ceiling and be power limiting. Since many of us put in LS motors for the power (and especially when you have a motor with one of the highest flowing OEM genIV heads available) you really don't want your headers being the limiting factor?

I like these headers and that they were made for an LS in a '67-'72...but fear they wouldn't flow enough for the LS3/L92 style heads on a 6.0L and a big cam. Was hoping there might be a bigger primary and collector size for these.

These are in fact 1 5/8" but have the 3" collector.

Re: Doug Thorley LSx swap headers $475 shipped

Any plans on offering this with larger primaries? 1 5/8" is great for a SBC or a stock LSx, but get one that really wants to breathe (L92, LS3 heads) and it needs a 1 3/4" at least, with a 1 7/8" being preferable...with a 3.5" collector being icing on the cake. For some large cube LSx motors...I'm guessing they'd want 2" primaries. These are beautiful well made headers for LSx swaps in these classic trucks, but for those of us that are adding the LSx motors and shooting for 500hp and more...they're just a bit too small and would choke down the performance. As much as I'd like to go with tthese headers, I'll have to find something else that will give these large port/large valve LS heads the flow they need...w/o hangin way down below the frame where they might get damaged.
