Is a 3/4 ton GMC with coils odd?

I'd say not really. You never know which way these years went GMC or Chevy, coil/leaf. I always thought the 3/4 tons were always leaf, then I was awaken. I have yet to see a rhyme or reason on how these truck got ht they got at times.
