I didn't read the entire thread, just scanned through the pictures. I'm gonna guess you are the "helper" mentioned in post 57.
Were you ever able to get the truck up and running again?

You guessed it! I'm Ms. Blue Belle's newest curator.

Ill give everyone an update soon, as I'm trying to compile the story. If any of the members from 2005 are still here and remember anything - I'd love to connect. If you know a member in the thread is still active on the board please tag them.

Ill also post some pics soon. Thank you all!

What a special truck you have there. Looking forward to following along...

Here's the best pic I can find of how it looked from the factory (except being lowered).

I tried my best to fill in some gaps on your SPID. I took some liberty to interpret, and a couple I just can't see. Maybe this will help you look at it from a different perspective...

What a great story this RARE truck has, So glad to find this thread and connect the dots. Thank you all for your past input in 2005 and recently.

So far I've had the opportunity to talk to all the owners with the exception of one. Ill keep you all posted as I continue to document the trucks history.

Here she is now.

FYI - thinking of changing the tires.

That is a beautiful truck. I love those p01 caps. Great story that it's still going strong. Are those rally wheels with the caps on them?

I have never like those hubcaps until I saw them painted that way on your truck, I like that much more.

I'm not very good at guessing games and even worse at connecting the dots.. SB in SC abandoned this thread some 17 years ago when the truck was mostly disassembled.. Ms. Blue Belle, are you SB in SC and have moved to Ca, or, have you recently acquired this truck and are trying to learn it's history??

I like that look I may need to throw my wheel covers on mine to see how they look compared to the caps.

Re: How rare is a 68 c10 w/396/TH400?

I also have a 1968 C10 shortbed, fleetside with factory 396/TH400 and is a Custom. Mine is factory black with factory red interior. I am collecting some parts to do a resto on it but right now I am just driving it around and enjoying it as is.

You have a awesome looking truck and cant wait until I get mine totally restored as well.
