Rim and tire size ?

Hey everybody, I'm currently building a longbed 1970 cst10. It is lowered 4 1/2" in the front and 5 1/2" in the rear. Its about time to order rims and tires and I was just curious if anyone knew what i could fit under there. I dont mind tubbing the back if necessary, just want to make sure I clear the frame and the outer wheel well. I was looking at 20×12 in the rear and 20x10 up front. Not sure about offset...

Thanks

Re: Rim and tire size ?

I have 20x12 in the rear and 20x11 in the front. My rear has wider tubs though I don't think they're necessary.

I'm running 315/35R20 on all 4 corners. The fronts rub on the lower shock mount when suspended, but don't seem to rub when the weight is on the vehicle. Eventually I'll have ridetech up front so that won't be an issue.

Here are my measurements for when I ordered my wheels and tires. I'm a 72 longbed fleet side.

20x11 front with 6.75" BS

20x12 rear with 7.75" BS

If you did 10" in the front you'd likely want a 5.75" BS to keep the outer lip closer to the fender so it doesn't look overly tucked in.
