OK. Now we are getting somewhere.
My SWB "K" is from Fremont -6th digit Z-
But my Blazer has a 6th digit of 2- 7th digit is S which would mean St. Louis.
5th digit is 8.

Mine was built in Fremont, bought in Sacremento, somehow made its way to Black Canyon AZ, and now its in Texas with me.

Well - Pontiac East was opened in 1972, so it's possible for a truck (or two) to still be in existence. Pontiac West built heavier trucks (Medium duty) so if the model years and or series of the survey was expanded a Pontiac built truck could pop up.

My truck (Zooey) was born December 12th 1969 in Janesville, Wisconsin then, adopted Friday, March 6th of 1970 in Hastings, Nebraska.

My 68 is a Fremont built truck. Spent most of its life in California until the previous owners moved to Oregon and immediately put the truck up for sale when I bought it. Plates had just been swapped out. So its always been a West coast truck.
