1982 k10 305 edelbrock carb help.

So what's happened is I got this truck and it had a vaccuum leak I could never find. Finally found it and he had the valve covers finger tight meaning the pcv was leaking through to my edelbrock 1406. It was running fine because the carb was tuned with the pcv leak. The idle mixture screw on the driver side didn't do anything before that's how I knew there was still a vaccuum leak somewhere. Now I can't keep it running when off choke. I know it has to be a carb issue and I think since everything was tuned with the pcv leak it's off somewhere
