Under dash painting
Hello guys, I'm needing some advice on painting under the dash. I just got done epoxy priming everything but boy did I struggle getting everything covered under the dash. I have a devilbiss flg-4 gun and with the regulator and filter there was hardly any room to move the gun and get the correct angles to cover it all. Also can you mix the paint and clear together so I might have a better chance at covering everything in one shot

Re: Under dash painting
you could add a swivel between your filter/reg and the gun..thisll give you a little more room...way up in there where it cant be seen I wasn't as concerned with paint..firewall pad and floormats cover up everything anyway...I used single stage paint with a flattner mixed in on my cab insides..might also try one of the small touch-up style guns for tight places

Re: Under dash painting
This thing is probably 10 plus yrs old, A bit tricky to use, and keep the cup upright.

Re: Under dash painting
I shot the inside of my cabs with a small detail gun using single stage paint.

Re: Under dash painting
Dz..sometimes I can just save them and rotate and save again and it works...
Other times I have to save , rotate, and crop the edges off and save...and it works
