67/69 10 year Project (so far!)

Ok, I have a story to tell yall about how I got to where I am now on my 67 Chevy truck project. I first bought it in 1998 with intensions of driving it. I soon found out that it needed alot of work. So I stripped it apart for a full overhaul. At that time I was 21 years old and did not have much money. First thing I did was sand blast the frame and paint it black. Then I replaced all the front end bushings and ball joints and installed 2 inch drop springs. My plan was to make it "pro street". I bought a ford 9" rear end from a junk yard and welded the 67 bracket on it. I bought mickey tompson 31x16.50x15 tires and I had wheel vintique make me some corvette style rally wheels for it. 6 lug truck in the front and ford 5 lug in the rear.Ok long story short, The frame has been painted about 9 years. It has been setting outside about the last two years. I just put it in the shop the other day. I have decided to ditch the pro street look and go for slammed. I have decided to go with the drop member in the front and build my own rear set up. I just went to a swap meet yesterday and sold the wheels and tires that I have had for the last 8 years. I am seriously gonna start workin on this thing in the next few weeks. I hope to keep yall informed on my progress and look forward to your comments.*

I got a 86 swb truck in a trade that already had bags on it. I will be robbing the bags and dropped spindles and disc brakes from it for my 67. Here is the 86 frame with the donor parts.

Sorry about the VW picture. I am having trouble figuring out how to properly attach pics and get the words in the right places.
