Question K&N air filter maintenance

How do I wash out a KN filter? I have one in my car and don't know the proper maintenance for it.

Go to some place that sells them, and ask them about a "recharging kit" for it. Its just like a cleaner u use on it when it gets dity.

They make a kit to clean it and re-oil it. Just go the local auto parts store they'll have 'em.

Don't worry about maintenance for the filter untill you have used the filter for about 50,000 miles. The K&N likes a little coating of dirt.
