I am selling my custom one-off billet gauge bezel and glove box door. This was being made for a project I was building which never was completed. There is about $2000.00 in the design, cad work and machining of these parts. The gauges are Autometer American Muscle Series and were about $800.00

First I want to start by saying these are not direct bolt in parts. These were being made for my custom 67 C10 which had many modifications. You will need to slightly enlarge the gauge panel opening in your dash and drill new mounting holes because this gauge bezel has tapped studs on the back to mount this so now fasteners were exposed in the front. There may be some other slight modification to the dash as well but I don't remember off hand what it is. Although the glove box does use the stock hinge, it dous not have a way to latch yet. Once we figued out how we wanted to latch it we were going to put in back in the machine and make provisions for it but we never got around to it.

The recessed portion of the bezel and the glove box door were machined sepeatley and welded together so there will be some fine detal work like sanding and polishing to get everything to blend together perfectly.

There are two very unique and cool things about the cauge bezel. The first is the gauges are mounted from the back instead of the front. Instead of just drilling the recommended hole size for each gauge, tha contour of the gauge bezel and duplicated and machined from the back side of the 3/4 billet panel. What this did was allow to bring the gauges in from the back so the face of the bezel only sits 1/16 of an inch on the surface to give it more of an original syle look. The 2nd unique factor is that if you look at the turn signial and hi beam indicators above the clock you will notice that they just appear black. These have led rings that light up green and blue when in use and all three are actually push button on/off switches.

So I just want to be clear, these are complete custom. The gauge bezel and glove box door will require a little bit of work as well as some slight modifications to the dash. If you don't have any fab skills or have the money to pay someone than this mignt not be for you.
