Looking for tips on removing what appears to be hard water stains from windows. I have heard to try STEEL WOOL 0000, vinegar, and Invisible Glass. NONE of these worked?? Any ideas??

Razor blade but do ot use it on plastic mirrors. The side mirrors on my ZR2 are plastic. A razor blade will scratch them.

Phantom, I had a bad hard water spot problem on my wife's Grand Cherokee, and I tried everything you mentioned (and a few more) including Mudder's razor blades. Nothing worked. A local glass guy fixed me up with something called Water Spot Remover, from Bio-Clean Products in Sacramento, Calif. It's a pale green, slightly runny aggressive rubbing compound, and it really works. Takes a bit of elbow grease, and you may end up with surface swirl marks. If so, follow up with polishing compound. Check with local glass shops. If you can't find it, the company's toll-free number is 800-341-5417. I paid $10 for a 10 oz. jar and used about 1/3 of it to do all the windows on the Jeep.

yeah use what stocker said or you can try out some light cut compound...and then follow up with a polish

Hope it works for you as well - I had given up, but now the Jeep looks really good again.
