Cool replacing fuel filter?

When changing a fuel filter on a 90 suburban, just wondering if a lot of gas will pour out from the lines? Thanks in advance. It seems simple enough just want to make sure I have enough to catch the gas.

Re: replacing fuel filter?

I've never had more than maybe 1/2 cup spill from mine but I always had something to plug or cap the line to keep it from starting a siphon. a cheap set of vacuum caps usually works as a temporary cap for the line, just be sure to throw them away after getting fuel on them.
