window fog

Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the white hazy fog that develops around old windshields? I have two perfectly fine windsheilds, but they have a haze around the edges that wont clean off. I was thinking of trying one of those glass polishing kits, but it only says that it removes small scratches.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Re: window fog

The white haze is between the two pieces of glass and cannot be removed.

Thanks. I never thought of the windsheild being two pieces of glass.

Re: window fog

Yup gotta replace em. I forget the exact cause but its either the glass layers starting to seperate or the plastic layer in between just weathering
