Re: 72 Longbed frame

Hey, sorry to butt into your thread but I was just curious what is a lwb frame worth? Does it make any difference between coil or leaf springs?
Thanks

Re: 72 Longbed frame

I honestly have no idea. A bare frame maybe $ 50-200 depending on the rust factor ?

I am not sure if they are the same or not. Maybe some of the 4x4'ers can let us know.

Re: 72 Longbed frame

Jorge- I am interested in the cross sills for the bed floor. I can pick them up from you next time you are down here in OC, if they fit in the vehicle you roll down in. Shipping would be too much of a hassle and cost.

Scott,
I will set them aside for you. I am not sure on Thanksgiving this year, but I am sure of Christmas for being in SoCal. I will take them with me.

Jorge

Thanks Jorge! Sounds great either way. They all look good and the rear one still has some paint on it! TTT.

2tons of fun,
How does $50 sound to you ? Just to avoid possible confusion, the rear axle is the 6 lug from my 67. It is complete drum to drum, I am not sure of the gear ratio.
Thanks

Re: 72 Longbed frame

How much for the exhaust hangers --the one shown in picture 2, and the one behind the driver side rear tire, kinda shown in picture 3?

dfwright, I see the one in picture 2, but am not sure about the pic 3. I can snap a pic of it in the morning since I have since stripped the bed rails, and just about everything but the crossmembers off this thing. I just want to make sure the piece you need is what's there.
How does $25 shipped sound to you ?

Re: 72 Longbed frame

The other hanger is behind the rear driver tire, and looks like the picture below: You can just see it through the boards in picture 3, if I am not mistaken.

$25 shipped for the two hangers sounds great. PM me your paypal info, and I'll pay up and send you the mailing address. Thanks!
