Air Bag Suspension Set-up

I am planning on bagging my truck this winter. I'm tired of messing around with static drop heights and trying to get the stance the way I like it.

I was hoping I could get some input on static drop configurations with air bags. I assume that amount if static drop in the suspension is going to dictate how close to the ground you can drop the vehicle when it is stopped.

I currently have 2" drop spindles and 1" drop springs in the front. My plan was to leave the spindle as is and replace the coil with a bag.

On the rear, I have a leaf spring suspension... The previous owner had taken out 2 of the leaves in the spring pack so when I flipped the axle, I experienced some ride stiffness problems. I had a local spring shop add a couple of leaves back in a re-arch the springs and ended up with a little too much drop (about 7") and this brings me to my decision to go with air bags.

I was planning to remove the spring packs, have them re-arched to drop it another 1" or so then add an Air-Over-Leaf system. My thought is that I would use the bag to bring it up to ride height but when I pull up to a show I can drop it down about as close to the inner side of the wheel well as possible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
