That kit is made for a bone stock 350. With stock flat top pistons it states 9:1 comp. The cam is also rated for a stock torque converter. That is why I decided to go with this kit so it would be compatible with towing. I did go with a FiTech efi. But that shouldn't matter.

I don't see anything wrong with running the cam in that kit on a stock bottom end. With 64cc chamber heads, stock dished pistons will be right around 9:1.

Upon further deciphering I think that cam will be alright.
It’s got lazy ramps and a wide lsa so will be more docile. |
