Re: 1990 electric instrument cluster/speedo

i am almost (85%) done with my ls style swap. i sold my 01 silverado to get my second 87chevy. this time i stayed away from big cube's and went FI. anyway, i found this thread about factory electronic speedo's and actually lucked up finding one in good looking shape. got that biotch for 20 bucks muhahaha i already reset the odometer to what it needed to be at, got the trip button to function correctly, now all i need to do is get the cluster in the truck and test it out. i talked to the electrician at my job (chevy dealership) and he said pretty much what you guys said... run the wire from the computer to the speedo. well thats what im going to do. i need to figure out what all the differences in pin locations from the 87 truck and 90-91 burban.
till then, clint

p.s. heres a link to the swap
