Frame

Is a 1963 suburban frame the same length as a long bed or short?

Re: Frame

I'm pretty sure you can find that info in the factory assembly manual. It has all the dimensions.

Re: Frame

The wheelbase is the same as a short bed truck, but the rear of the frame is longer than a short bed. It also has a different shape to work with the body mounts and rear bumper

Re: Frame

Just jumping in here since my question is pertinent; in looking for a replacement brake line kit the short bed version will fit?

The frames are the same with respect to original brake lines.
