Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10

You could change over to an electric cooling fan or fans. It would give you a small HP increase and a little MPG gain.

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10

thats not a bad truck,im also 16 years old and bought my truck about 3 months back for 3000,it had a 454 in it and was already converted to disk brakes,im pulling the 454 and putting a 350 in it,454 cost to much $ for me to drive. im looking for a short fleet bed, then ill drive it til the wheels fall off

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10

You can add all kinds of stuff to add more horsepower but the easyest way to add HP will be changing out your cyilnder heads. Swap them out for a pair of Vortech with the cam and intake that would translate around 420ft. lbs 400hp and the best part, you can buy a pair on ebay for around 3-400 bucks make sure no one has ported them though.
