No armrest holes? Flat grey looking. Very interesting if it did come from a fire dept. and Oregon makes it interesting to me...
Nice find

Are you going to keep the "3.5 V6"?

Re: 1967 king cab info please

Bet they received it as surplus from another agency. USFS maybe. Are there any data plates on the dash or door pillars? Been trying to track down information about Pacific for a while now. My favorite conversions have always been the Scott-Bilt or Altons.

I live in Townsend. I called on it about 2 weeks ago. He kept telling me it had a "3.5 V6 that's as big as a house". He obviously meant 305.

What are your plans for it? Can you tell what tranny and T-case it is set up for since the originals are somewhere in WA.?

If you don't mind me asking, did you get him to move off the $1500?

Re: 1967 king cab info please

Like the guys said I linked an older thread about this truck in #3.
Alton and Scott-Bilt offered truck cab conversions and were listed in the Silverbooks Dealers used as a resource for off-line products and information. Typically a unit would be shipped to a converter. It was modified then shipped to the dealer for delivery. Scott Chevrolet in OKC offered variations as to wheelbase and door size, then chopped or extended as required. Alton IIRC only used full size doors in their conversions to a full six seat, four door configuration. Here are a Scott flyer and a Alton promo picture.

Try contacting FINE69 (Mike). He might be able to help you. He used to have one like it I think.

The V6 is most likely factory. I would find a 478M to stuff in it if I were you. You have a unique truck so I would keep a unique motor. The NV4500 is a good transmission. You could find a Clark 5 speed that would bolt behind the V6. If you looked hard enough, you could even find an overdrive Clark.

Re: 1967 king cab info please

Could be. Could you get the 351 factory in '67? I think they started offering them around '67 or '68.

That is not a D60 front. Dana 60 fronts do not have 2 U-bolts on the RH leaf spring. Just one on the outside, and 2 studs on the inside going into the diff housing. It looks to me like you have a closed knuckle D44.

I just read in another thread that it had a Dana 60. No pictures.

Dad has a '74 Ford Dana 60 closed knuckle. It doesn't have the studs like my dodge does.
