Okay guys I picked up my 5.3 tonight. I plan to rebuild it and drop it in my 70 short bed project. Where I can I learn about building these motors?

Rarely is there any "building" done to the LS short block. Stock they're typically in fine shape even with high mileage.

I notice in your pic the IAC and TPS sensors are missing, I sure hope they're just in another box. Piecing together every sensor needed to would add up in a hurry.

I have three or four [maybe more than that] cores laying around my place if you need a little trinket or some odds and ends look me up. that is why I keep the cores in case some people my need something. I also keep a couple of wiring harnesses to have ends for cut offs if someone needs plugs.
