Re: 67-72 Truck Calendar Nominations

It's gonna be tough to get enough 4X4's for a separate calendar....

I will get better quality pics if necessary - I wish that date stamp wasn't there! The truck looks the same now as it did then.

Re: 67-72 Truck Calendar Nominations

This is my all time favorite shot, so I'm gonna throw it on here to nominate my truck.

I also like this shot, even if it's with the old 15's.

If I make it in(tough field here), I have plenty to choose from in my PHOTOBUCKET page. Hi-res pics are available if you need them.

I guess I didnt think about the fact that there may be a couple guys who have MULTIPLE showstoppers. Gumby is one of my all time favorites on the board, and even inspired the design theme for my "Red Sled" Blazer.

I actually think the 2 truck shot would make a SWEET calendar cover. I may play with it some in the photo editor and see if I can make it work. If it works, then I would request we only run one of your trucks in the poll. But, if not, I have no problem with you nominating both of your trucks. But, since I have never encountered this in any of the previous calendar's, I am open to PM's from anyone who has an opinion.
Thanks Jeff, for the super kind words and complements, of course a cover shot would be awesome, but I would not want to take up 2 spots in the poll, one would be adequate and fair to all others. "Gumby" would be my and probably your choice in the poll and that's fine, also big C/10 thanks to everyone else for the kudos.

Re: 67-72 Truck Calendar Nominations

Since you might consider a double truck shot......buddy of mine just finished the light Green 72 and brought it by......took a few quick shots. I can clean up some of the background crap if needed.....poles, towers....etc..

Re: 67-72 Truck Calendar Nominations

It's raining today, but this calendar gives me a perfect reason to go bug one of the PO's and stop by his shop for a photo op...

Maybe I'll center my truck this time instead of the background
