This a story about a new driver that couldn't start his truck. He was making his 1St trip for Edwards Trucking out of Idaho Falls Idaho, his run was to Montana in mid winter. The dispatcher picks up the phone, the first thing the dispatcher hears is "My truck won't start, how am I gona get home?" Dispatcher asks how come the truck won't start? The driver replies " It's upside down in the river"

True, true, true. Don't how the driver got home, but the truck upside down in the river was fixed and back on the road in a few weeks.

Just thouoght you might like to know.

Not a song but tis a true story, I know fer sure and certain.

Here is a song written about the wall at the bottom of Backbone Mt in Maryland where many truckers have lost their lives. Loretta Hummel was born and raised in Garrett County, where this place is. To date it has taken 25 lives, since 1960. It's a bad hill!
