T/C fluid
Just wanted to check what fluid you are using to fill up your transfer case? I have some ATF laying around and it would be nice to get rid of it

Assuming it's a 205, I have read most gear oils will work including ATF. Mine ran for years with ATF but anymore I use Mobil One synthetic 75W-90.

good point, yes it is a 205, figured that ATF would work, since a seal leaks and ends up in the T/C, just gotta check your trans fluid for low level

80 90 gear oil is what is recomended for our trucks
Atf is used in newer trucks with much smaller bearing sm 265 205 tcase have large course ball bearings |

I am running ATF. The same as the TH350.

well, let me give you alittle back story, when it was in the shop for the EFI, I asked how much tranny fluid goes in he said"6-7 quarts" so I put it in, my tranny leaked for a couple months, kinda caught most of it, so now I have a pan with about 6 quarts laying here, bright idea!!!!, lets put it into the t/c, It wont get spilled in my shop,and I can CYA when my son asks, what is in that pan, he doesn't come on this forum (jeep guy). so that why I asked
