clutch linkage question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

i'm swapping from auto to manual trans. i forgot how the z bar attaches on the motor side. does the z bar attach to the block like a camaro or does it attach to the bellhousing ?

there is a ball stud that screws into the motor block IIRC.
